The social studies program includes students K-8 utilize We the People series of Pearson Publishing Company. Social Studies is taught both from a Native American perspective and incorporates Catholic Social Teachings. The Diocese of Phoenix specifies the focus for each grade as follows:

Freshmen Class: World History
This course will take students through the study of history beginning with the first civilizations, moving through the medieval world into the Renaissance. They will then study the cultural, political, and economic structures from the 16th century on including the causes and after effects of both World Wars.
Sophmore Class: American History
Students will learn of the true origins of this country from pre-colonial times until the present. They will study the great wars that help shape the direction of the nation. Throughout this course, students will further develop critical thinking skills, decipher themes and provide well-versed written commentaries.
